If you're not into her that way then just shake it off. Probably just the ego aspect of not being the center of attention. Or being passed up, basically.
No I'm not, at least I don't think so? Idk, I don't have many close friends so when I see one drifting away it makes me sad.

Ask yourself this. If she made a pass at you, would you go for it, or be more concerned with preserving the friendship?

Tough call, but I think I would say no. Not worth the risk of losing a close friend imo.

so you're more worried that if she gets a boyfriend you'll become estranged?

Yeah, and like... I'd miss little things like sitting together in class and working on assignments, stuff I don't really do with other people and stuff she's shifting toward doing with somebody else instead.

Like I said though, I really hope it works out for her; I like them both a lot.

I probably just need more friends if I'm being honest.

The concept of "we don't take donations" is something that people really have a hard time understanding. I try to be nice and explain that we can't take things we can't sell/don't want because we would just throw it out and they pretty much always respond with "sure, you can throw it out". No. YOU can throw out your own garbage. If I showed up to these peoples homes with boxes of books, records, CDs, and DVDs of things they don't want, they'd look at me like I was insane. Yet, because I have a store, people feel they can just leave their sh*t with us and we'll applaud them for giving us their garbage. It happens multiple times a week and it's driving me crazy.

This is what I’m doing now. 9 hour shifts.

I know everyone has to blow off steam when it comes to work but

Quote:
Good time for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man
Turn bad
So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want
This time
Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad
So for once in my life
Let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time
It wouldn’t literally be the first time but it would be the first time in over a decade. You “work” in paradise. Sorry to be dismissive but damn.

Nothing more annoying than a "This is what I'm going through so you can't be frustrated" attitude.

To be fair, it is a contest.
