What. The. ****.

It happened again, but this time it was the little **** neighbor kids. I pounded on their door fuming, and asked who hit my car. They were cooperative and apologetic, and told me they had a party that night and one of their friends may have been the culprit. Getting them to man-up and come forward is probably never gonna happen though, and they're not sure who it was. Ugh. Funny, because it's in the same spot as where my Equinox was hit, but the damage is minimal this time, and only cosmetic. What sucks is that if I go through with the repairs my insurance will go up, since there's no second party to pick up the tab. ****en little *******s.

it’s your own fault for owning an Equinox, soccer mom.

I traded that POS in for a Jeep last year. It's like a 271 HP Quad. Now, with scratches on the drivers side front.

If they aren't going to find out who did it or can't/won't then why don't your neighbours pick up the tab and stop inviting wankers round? You shouldn't be out of pocket or have to put up with damage on your vehicle that isn't your fault.

I would probably leave it as it's not worth going on about it if it's only minor damage but I'm with Elph I would be very annoyed. I'd be annoyed if I was the neighbour actually because it's me that looks bad if my guests do that, I'd want to find out who did it for that.

They're very destructive teenagers and their parents are twats (the mother is useless and the father is never around), so I'm kinda ****ed. No witnesses (that are willing to come forth) and it's only my word against theirs as to what actually happened to my vehicle. Not a good recipe for placing financial responsibility on their shoulders.

The **** part of it all is that I found the damage after I got to my clubs disc golf tags round yesterday morning. When I went to get into my Jeep to leave for the disc golf course, I noticed it was skewed a bit, and I thought I just parked a little crooked the night before. I only noticed the damage when I got to the course, and then it dawned on me what had occurred. It was the same as when my Nox got hit, it was skewed too. It all added up, and it sent me into a spiral of anger and frustration which in turn threw my round way off. I had already signed in and paid the round fee ($5 for the club), so I had all round to stew and build up some debilitating anger ulcers. I played the last hole, asked my friend to tag-out for me and immediately went home to rattle some cages. I showed some restraint.

the newer Equinox’s aren’t too bad but goddamn if the model prior wasn’t one of the worst chev products in recent memory. every other engine job the shop that i work at did was on either an equinox or terrain.

Shit then, not a lot you can do.

Both sets of my neighbours are not really nice people so I know the feeling mate.

Yup. I had an 08. I pretty much rebuilt the entire thing from the ground up. Blown head gasket, heater core, radiator, full brake replacement, windshield (after cracking it while replacing the heater core), and a few other things I probably forgot. I traded it in after throwing a rod. I hated that thing, but I did get a couple hundred thousand miles out of it.

The estimate for the damage is $875, and my insurance deductible is $500. I cancelled the claim. I'll just live with the scratches rather than have my insurance go up for such minimal bull****. Little ****en can't navigate a simple parking lot *******s.
