I enjoy a good whistle myself, but people who whistle in public are the worst. It's usually just a bunch of bull**** that's not even a conscious melody, or maybe they're just terrible at whistling, but they're typically just obnoxious.
If you kick ass at whistling you should show those mother****ers up and say that I sent you.

How can you hate whistling? It makes the world more whimsical when somebody whistles, and not enough people do it to make it legitimately annoying. Sounds like somebody doesn't know how to blow properly.

Whimsicality as you see it is not something I want from this world. I do think most people just suck at it though. When I whistle metal machine music I'm sure people just think I suck too though.

I don't often encounter whistlers in public, unless I'm on a Greyhound bus of course. (Because everyone seems to feel the need to be as noisy as humanly possible while on a cramped bus) There was this one guy in my high school who was always whistling, though, and I came to dread the sound because he had a tendency to start aggressively massaging your neck and back immediately upon greeting you. He did this to everyone constantly. We just accepted it.

I whistle at work too, but that's just to be annoying.
