Sorry Dj. Didn't see it.

The video honestly reminds me too much of those hunger games style post-apocalyptic teenage action dramas. I hate those kind of movies. Thus mixed with the song it just feels like pandering...

The actual song is super weak in the lyrical department, the guitar solo is uninspired, and they rip themselves off in the opening synth/bass lines.
Matt's voice and the vocal melody is alright though so I will give them that.

It's just a really weak performance overall though.

Kiii: Yes I listen to Muse. Sue me.

God how I hate annoyingly filmed and/or edited concerts.

If you plan to make a concert movie and overuse this stuff you should burn in hell:

1. Inserting some other random footage into the video
I don't want to see some **** you think is moody when set to the music. Show me the ****ing musicians.

2. Constant close-ups of the musicians faces
It's nice to see their expressions but I want to see them ****ing playing and not their left eye for ten ****ing minutes. Just show the whole guy, that way I can see his o-face and him doing awesome stuff to his instrument.

3. Constantly showing the audience
Nice to see them going wild from time to time but people at concerts look dumb and, again, I want to see the ****ing musicians.

4. Constant cuts and zooms
No need to try to illustrate music going wild with your ****ing editing. Nothing communicates the energy better than, yep, just seeing the musicians doing their thing. It's the same reason cut-up fight scenes usually are annoying.

Rant over.

The worst part is when they're not even focusing on the musician doing the most interesting thing.

God yes.

"Hey, the guitar player is doing a face-melting solo. Let's show the bongo player slightly tap his drum in the same rhythm for 5 minutes."

Mother****ers.

Or when they add cheesy visual effects to the video cause I guess most people don't have the attention span to watch otherwise or something.

Do they even take the focus off of Joey DeMaio's crotch in the live videos you watch?

Only when Eric Adams turns around wearing assless chaps.

I have a bootleg of a Talking Heads concert where the camera guy keeps zooming into Tina Weymouth's tits right when Adrian Belew starts going nuts with his guitar. Every fucking time.

I see nothing wrong with that.

I just checked and she doesn't even have nice tits. She doesn't even look that good tbh.
