Probably excited about the buzz.

Guess who's plans just fell through yet again, again, again, for the weekend?

Breakups would be made so much more easier if I had actual friends who wanted to hang out, which was why having a girlfriend was so nice...

I mean like is it so hard for her just to talk to me? We were best friends and she's throwing that all away. She doesn't want closure, she doesn't care about talking... I just ****ing hate life and everyone in it. **** this ****.

Could this not all be explained by her being an ex and this being awkward and you probably just shouldn't be hanging out with her in the first place? This is an honest question.

Well, actual friends still tend to be ridiculously flaky (or vanish from the face of the earth the moment they have a new significant other), if that's any consolation.

Did you and your girlfriend break up very recently..? Some people require much more time--years, even--to process everything. I feel it's entirely possible to be friends with exes, depending on how/why the relationship ended. Although, even when things end amicably, there are some that have an all-or-nothing mentality which makes friendship impossible for them to even consider. (Obviously this is understandable of one person is still pining away) I've had many friendships end against my will that way.

I wasn't talking about her really. We hung out twice in December to have Christmas and hung out one other time. I'm talking about how every plan I've made with anyone in the last two months has fallen through and I'm ****ing tired.

Two months now. It was a pretty intense relationship though, we planned on marrying at one point and we were very much in love for the first like 5 months of the 6 month relationship. Long distance changed that a lot, she went to school about 3 months into it and it thrived anyways for a while but my insecurities came out, her anxiety worsened, we had differences and the distance did nothing to help us when we needed to be able to communicate with each other.

She said she wanted to remain close friends though but I suppose she still needs space right now? I just want closure... and like I'll always be friends with her you know? But it's hard when she doesn't want to talk about anything and still needs space. I suppose I should wait it out more.
