Now I absolutely hate being called a moron, imbecile, dummy, or any synonym. It's very offensive to me. It's like when a gay person gets called the fa word, or when a black man is called the n-word. It's all because it brings back bad memories. I'm posting this because I got under stress and I need to vent. That was years ago when that stuff happened, though. And I'm not really going to say anything stupid without explaining myself. If I vent, maybe someday I can forget that past.

But, black people and gays are those things they're being called. So if you hate being called a moron for the same reason a gay dude would hate being called a word that accurately describes him...

Did you read what he wrote? Are you joking? He's talking about when the "fa word" and "n-word" are said in contempt they are hurtful. Those words do not "accurately describe" them. You're wrong, and you are wrong for joking about it.

Being called a moron brings back really bad memories which I want to forget. So, I take a lot of offense, especially since I was an award-winning student throughout pretty much the entirety of my school years. Spelling Bee, art projects, not to mention I was one of the best geometry students in my freshman year (at that school, geometry was a 10th grade class, and I was the one commonly asked for for group projects). Oh, not to mention, I have been congratulated by someone who oversee the creation of specialized school tests for the advanced. I don't know what company, but Mom and my teachers were very impressed. Apparently, on that test (and only advance students got to take it), I got one of, if not the highest scores.
I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I've been through a lot during my school years, a lot of rewarding situations due to my schoolwork and grades, and that's why I hate being called a moron. It's not only a grim reminder, it's people trying to judge me when they know nothing about me.

I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I was called either a moron or a genius. Can't let that stuff bother you. You have to remind yourself you're not what people say you are.
