Cheapest white rum with the cheapest Diet, caffeine free cola is all I need.

I get the impression that I'm not well liked here for some reason. I know I'm not very active as many of you, but every time I try to engage in discussion on this site, someone always has some sarcastic or smart-ass reply. It seems like most other members don't get this treatment for worse behavior. I state an opinion and I get jumped on, and if I defend myself in the nicest way possible, even more jump in. It just makes this site feel more and more uninviting.
Not only that, but whenever I try to start a fun thread for people to engage in, the first week or so will be active, but after that will be as dead as a forest. I have some cool journal ideas, but if it ends up like my previous threads, then what's the point? I don't expect anyone here to feel sorry for me. Just sort of in a weird mood at the moment, and I'll probably regret posting this pretty soon. Carry on. |

It really isn't. Smartass comments are the bread and butter of MB and threads are dying all the time. In fact the only threads that really thrive are spammish threads in the lounge, what are you listening to threads and the odd review thread. You seem alright. Don't take stuff personally.

You should definitely start a journal, though. Don't try to force yourself to update it every five seconds, or focus purely on getting as many views as possible, because that kind of sets you up for major disappointment. Views come pretty slowly for most journals, and most users won't leave all that much feedback, but that doesn't mean that people aren't enjoying what you're writing. Just write about things that you give a shit about, and take it at your own pace, you know?
