That happened to me when I was in the Army after a day of loading milk crates off of a 2.5 ton many years ago. The next morning, I couldn't get out of bed. Our squad leader was pounding on my door, yelling at me since I missed morning formation, and all I could do was yell back that I couldn't move because of my back. I ended up going to 97 general (military hospital in Germany) and got some pain meds. It was gone in a day or so.
Fast forward to last week, I was sitting in a fold-up chair and one of the legs gave way. I didn't think much about it until I went to get up. The same fucking pain hit me like a claymore. I couldn't even stand and ended up on all fours on the floor writhing in pain. I did some stretching, and twisting in a chair, then hit a hot tub for about an hour and the pain was gone. Weird that nothing like that has ever happened to me in the time between those two incidents.

I have back problems all the time, I can't wait to inevitably try this one out.

Blew out a disc about 10 years ago. Ended up with severe sciatica becasue of it. Wanna know what it feels like? Take your middle finger and bend it back until you can't take the pain any longer. Now imagine that feeling over your entire lower back - ALL THE TIME.
Took tons of icing and a few weeks of intense PT (ultrasonic massages are the bomb) before I got relief. Here's a great way to ice (my PT showed me this). You'll need a coffee table. Lay on the floor with the ice pack under your back and your lower legs resting up on the coffee table. This allows the cold to really penetrate deep. Do that 15 minutes every hour for an afternoon and you should start feeling some relief.

I watched Paul Stanley crawl around on all fours at a KISS show a few years ago. It was pretty disgusting, but I couldn't help myself from laughing hysterically.

You mean somas. Naproxen is actually the best thing for back pain. flexeril and somas are just pain relievers. Naproxen actually decreases swelling and relieves damaged tissue.
