Trollheart walks in with a non-humourous comment....

The only thing I could suggest vis a vis the webcam is to shut down the actual process. You know how to do that of course? From Task Manager? That would kill any loose links that may have somehow latched onto your webcam and allow it to start fresh. I sometimes have to do this, not with a webcam (cos I don't have one) but with other applications. Might work, might not.

I don't that's something that happens. You should probably check yourself before you wreck yourself. Or else you run the risk of wrecking yourself.
