I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Closer inspection revealed that his bedsheets and his hands & legs were covered in the stuff. He hadn't washed after himself.
I changed his bedsheets, then showered him and dried him with one of two towels we keep in the bathroom.

I was thinking to myself, despite my initial annoyance at the inconvienience caused at such an ungodly hour...what a good lad he'd been for trying to go to the toilet on his own in the middle of the night.
So I shouted to him, what a big boy he'd been and he replied "yes, I am and I wiped my hands on the (other) towel afterwards"...just as I was drying my face!
