No I assume t hat the self realizations I make when sober, are correct. Only because it takes balls to have them sober, and entertain them as proper notions. Have you got the guts to correct these realizations ? That is a more pertinent question

Already got into a fender bender over it once so I am about to just have a silent vehicle.
Try some contact cleaner.

I'm in something of an existential crisis at the moment. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with the fact that I will die someday and then everything will be forgotten?

You won't care when you're dead.

Nope. You're gonna have to suffer until the wound has scarred over and become numb. Not really kidding.

You could pretend there's a magical man in the sky that you're going to live with after death. A lot of people seem to cope that way.

If nothing matters, than doesn't that make everything matter that much more? I kind of find the idea of inevitable mortality comforting; if I really am going to die, and everything I do will be forgotten, then I might as well enjoy the time that I have. No matter how much pain or pleasure you feel, no matter how many wonderful or horrible things you do, it all just turns into dust, so why worry? At that point, death isn't really a scary be-all-end-all, it's more like a natural function that occurs as matter constantly flows through the universe, and isn't really an "ending" to anything as nothing ever truly has a "beginning".

This is my philosophy. Now will someone please pass the cremated human remains-laced cocaine? I need something to keep me awake through five hours of snuff film porn.

the answer is FIDLAR. Find what you like, do it, don't give a **** about anything else if you don't want to be miserable.
