I'm so angry; I could explode right now. My Dad is a damn loser. My Dad fails at life. My father got laid off from his job several years ago. My level is a lot higher than my Dad's level.
How old are you mate?

Calm down there, slugger. Clearly a monkey could do what you do.

I'm almost 24 years old and even i'm offended by it. I tell my dad all the time how much I appreciated what he did for me when I was a kid. Maybe I didn't say it enough when I was actually living at his place, but y'know, I didn't really know any better. However, i'd never think for a second to post things like that on a public forum. It's just bad karma.

On a semi-related note

You're a dad and you don't have a hairy chest? That's some low level ****.

I don't ever tell my dad that I appreciate him, that'd honestly make him livid with the way he is (he smashed a mug on the floor the other day because I sneezed), but I can't say I hate either of my parents, that's just whack. I mean, yeah I say it all the time, but you know, I don't mean it.

This.

My dad took me in after I lost everything at age 19.

My dad took me in again after I had been traveling nonstop for about a year with someone who couldn't get his **** together and stay out of jail. I was 21.

My dad would have taken me in again when I was 23 if I hadn't already had a better situation worked out.

I'll be 26 this year and my dad still sends me a birthday card with a little spending cash every year, even though he's the primary caretaker for my disabled mother in a single-earner household, already struggling to provide for her and himself.

My dad's a pretty awesome human being.
