i would never do one of those.

We used a gallon milk jug and a 5 gallon bucket.

I had a friend that made a pipe through a tree in his back yard. Probably still there too.

That one i would do.

It doesn't seem like it would work well though.

Drill a hole trough a small tree.
Mouth piece on one end.
Bowl on the other end.

It works, and when your Mom comes out to yell at you for playing the music too loud, it's not easily visible.
