Why are you swimming a public pool? Who does that unless they want to catch something . Jump in a fijord or whatever you call it.

I'm not even sure it's called a public pool. You pay to get in, it has bubble baths, water slides and so on. My nephews love it.

I swim much more in the sea or in lakes etc. but, you know in Norway, most of the year the water is freezing.

Oh well, we had our own ice swimming club back in winter 2012. I've even taken a swim up at the north polar ice cap. But even if I'm no stranger to them, icy dips don't last that long. It's hard to get any real swimming done.
