It's just the fact that a thread entitled "Underground Hip Hop(!)" is receiving more attention than other more substantial threads relating to the genre. There are plenty of threads about underground hip hop artists that aren't getting any love.

There are tons of great artists with their own threads on that forum, and rather than discuss any of them people are debating about Kanye and discussing wannabe mainstream mimics.
