No, I take her to get groomed every 4-6 weeks and they do it there. I'm use to cutting cat nails, but with dogs I can't seem to figure out exactly where I'm suppose to cut and it's all still new to me so it's a little intimidating. They're always kept at a manageable length and even if she does paw at me she's never scratched me in any meaningful way.

And just make sure not to clip above where you see the little pink thing in her nails. If all you see is grey/white then you're fine. You might have to put a little elbow grease into actually using the clippers though. Their nails are thick as ****.

My dog is pretty good about it as long as I do it quickly. I made sure to constantly have my hands on his paws, ears and mouth when he was little so it wouldn't be an issue now. Granted, he's only about 35lbs so it's t-ball to a St. Bernard ballgame.

God damn it. I got a paper to write that I've been trying to get done for the past two days, but I can't get a good night's sleep. Insomnia keeps me up all night, then I pass out at some point during the day, but only for a few hours, and then I've got a few more hours of wakefulness before passing out for another couple hours, only to wake up in time to be up all night again. And since I never get enough sleep at any one time I'm constantly tired and lethargic. I just want to get this paper done but my body and mind are not cooperating.

That happens to me all the time. I hate writing papers, and always end up doing it like 5 hours before it's due. I can never motivate myself to do it ahead of time. Even when I attempt to do it early I end up just staring at the assignment and then wonder off on youtube or here.

This is good advice for pretty much any situation.
Not doing good at work? Focus like you're taking a good dump. Not feeling well? Get some sleep, and wake up feeling good about the fact that you're about to take a good dump. Haven't slept in 3 days? Maybe it's time to relax and take a good dump. |

Just the right amount of bitchy. Not over bitchy, but not too unbitchy either.
