My poor St. Bernard has a yeast infection in her ear and trying to treat it is proving to be difficult. She's just shy of 18 months old and she weighs about 150 pounds and I suspect can pull somewhere between 1500 and 2000 pounds, and when she doesn't want stuff squirted down her ear it's not hard for her to get away.

Have you ever tried cutting her nails? I've had to actually sit on my St. Bernards just to be able to do that. It's the closest I've ever come to a rodeo.
