Now my only argument about poor people is this.

Is a person poor because they have no money, or is a person poor because they aren't investing their money into things that give them a healthy living?

What I mean is, sure, money wise, i'm not swimming in it, but at the same time, I have been able to buy numerous things to give myself a happy and comfortable life. Am I still considered poor?

There's a sense of working class comradery too, though. A sense of unity against what LiL described- elitist people who act like your existence is to serve them.

I'd imagine it depends on the underling.

Fundamentally, that's probably the same mentality behind white, Anglo-Saxon Protestants getting mad that Italian, Irish, Polish, black, Hispanic, etc people are coming to "their" country and taking "their" jobs.

imo, most poor people in america that i have come across are pretty slow, bigoted and petty. and they are the majority of the people i have known throughout my life.

there are exceptions and you come across them from time to time but for every one chill poor person there are 9 who will annoy the **** out of you.

when i say poor i basically mean working class. actual homeless people are usually decent people in my experience, they just have some sort of drug problem or mental illness.

the kind of person i'm referring to is the type who used to argue with me every time i sold them weed because they would make up some bull**** about how i was trying to skimp them when i knew damn well i weighed it out the exact same way every time and really wasn't trying to derive my profit out of cheating some bitch on welfare out of .2 grams of weed.

my parents actually grew up middle class but then made dumb life decisions and so everyone in my extended family is richer than me. middle class people are generally pretty chill to me. they have a few annoying quirks like they are generally paranoid as hell and kind of weak to me but overall i get along with them ok.

rich people basically fall into two categories for me. there is the rich person who was smart and made a bunch of money and might be a bit arrogant about it but at least they earned it so they have my respect in that regard. then there is the rich person who grew up rich and is usually some kind of ******* as a result of this because they grew up oblivious to what the world is really like.
