Sounds like you're over reacting. Veins dilate over time, maybe you just never noticed it before. Look at old people hands. You can see it moving with your pulse because it's pumping blood, I don't understand the concern. I'd be more worried if it wasn't...

Yeah I probably am overreacting, it doesn't hurt or anything so I doubt it's carpal, but I'm 99% sure it wasn't there a few days ago, so I don't know what's up that.
