My cat won't stop staring at me and it's starting to freak me out. We had a staring contest and she bet me, ****. It's getting uncomfortable.

Don't stare at your cat hon, they take it as threatening behaviour. Blink slowly; it's what they do when they smile. Oh, and smile, to show you're not a threat.
