I wasn't there when my cat passed away.

I was all the way on the other end of the country.

I think about him every day. It's been 3 years.

Moss don't worry about it, I had the choice of going with my dog to get him put down (he was 18) but chose not to & I don't regret it at all. I think it would have been worse watching him die.

It's of course a personal decision, and not for everyone. You need a lot of courage and sometimes it's hard to summon that up, and as your vet says, maybe it is better to remember them as they were. I'd have no worry whatever that you didn't stay; it's a personal choice and you decided what you did. Don't feel bad about it. I'm sure your cat knew on some level and had said goodbye in his/her own way. And once you remember them, you know, they live on in your heart always.

I've been sick more than ever before in my life this fall/winter. Once again, I'm down with a migraine and a fever. I've had to miss more days of school than anyone else in my classes. I don't know why. It's really starting to piss me off.

Maybe you should stop listening to so much Beatles, and start bumping some Manowar. Less girly music, and more manly metal might jump-start your immune system.

X-rays confirmed it. Linda broke her ankle. She's in a cast with crutches. Looks like I'm errand boy for the next couple of weeks.

How does one break an ankle walking a dog? Just curious.

Walking a trail briskly and not paying attention. Stepped into a crevice and *snap*.
