His boss, who works upstairs, is exactly the same way. Every now and then they have talking contests about 8 feet from where I'm sitting and it's f*cking excruciating having to listen to it.

Ugh, that sounds awful. (Literally.)

As a soft-spoken person (really, I can't do anything about it) I really, really dislike loud people. There's no need to be so fucking obnoxious all the time.

As opposed to sounding awful figuratively?

We would have fun. Apparently I just get loud for no reason when I talk, and it always used to get on this one friend's nerves.

As a medium-spoken person, I find both loud and soft-spoken people annoying.

Your face is loud and I find that annoying.

Your ass is loud.

The Batlord 11-20-2014 07:43 PM

But not annoying?

It's simultaneously loud and boring.

I'll try to eat more Taco Bell, so that my emanations are more interesting.

well, the guy's a loudmouth, so yes, he literally sounds completely awful.

I can't speak loudly to save my life. When I think I'm raising my voice, I'm still ignored. The only places where the acoustics are perfect are the bedroom and inside of a silent car. I don't even know how people deal with me.

I'm reasonably sure you're joking, but if you're not... that sounds like it really sucks.

I feel like I've been around too much vidya lately, my brain feels likes it's atrophying.

Also, it feels like when I've played along to simple songs on guitar, my hands feel just so awkward, and I can tell how bad my playing has been lately.
