yeah that sounds right.

If you have a kitten that only knows being inside then it's perfectly fine and happy being inside.

my cats at my parents house are indoor cats. They only go outside in the backyard when someone else is out there, in otherwords on a leash. They love the outdoors, but no way they survive if they were to roam free. Theyre both pussies

3 indoor cats at our house. We live on a street that has a speed limit of 45mph, so they've only been out with someone holding them, or close enough to grab. A friend has an outside cat, a huge Maine Coon that lives pretty much outdoors, but can be found inside looking for some attention too. They're on a low travel street/neighborhood though. It really depends on the location, as well as the temperament of the cat.

I hope all is well LIL.

I used to live on a street like that. Very busy, and the main route in our area for getting to one of two tunnels that are heavily congested around rush hour, so we definitely kept them inside there. It also helped that we didn't have a fenced in yard, so we couldn't have installed a doggy door even if we weren't renting. But now mother and I live in a quiet neighborhood with no outlet for through traffic. So there's not much chance of them getting hit by a car.

My cat (mentioned above) was a mostly indoor cat - we spoiled him with tons of blankets, toys, his very own sofa; he was allowed to eat his breakfast at the table with anyone who was also having breakfast (and of course you really needed to talk to him because he liked that). From his point of view, the treat containers were bottomless. He was very, very spoiled and loved to be held, kissed, snuggled, sung to... he was such a lovely cat.

Caring parents know where their kids are at all times.
different strokes i guess. i don't really see myself as the parent of a cat. it's just an animal that lives with me. i'm not really a cat person though tbh. if it were up to me i wouldn't have one. but my dad died and had a cat so i got stuck with it.

Janz is sitting on millions. I don't know why you'd be sitting on that thing.
