Ja I'm on the same page, same reason I didn't pursue her myself when she joined a few years back. He's getting along better now so there's a possibility that she'll be able to play with us in the future, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. At least I lost a second tier member instead of the other half of the core.

Yeah, its kind of a taboo thing. You just can't have a proper band dynamic if two people out of whatever total are that close, with all the secret joys and tensions it brings. Or even hetero platonic and living together, honestly. Ruins the vibe.
