i got netflix too but i mostly use it to watch tv series.

Just had the worst conversation with my mother, silly me always hoping to reconcile.

Mum: Oh finally you bothered to talk to me.
Me: Well it will help if you pick up your phone.
Mum: I know you never want to talk to me so why bother.
Me: Mum, I don't want to fight. I called to see if you're alright.

I've been trying to call her since 6 months ago, stopped for a few months because she didn't pick up the phone, started calling her all last month, but she never wants to speak to other people in general so doesn't pick up her phone ever.

Mum: So do you still see Xinner?
Me: No, she moved to Brisbane.
Mum: Oh good.
Me: Why..?
Mum: She's a bad person I don't want you hanging around her.
Me: She's not a bad person...
Mum: She's a slut, always with a different man every week.
Me: Oh my god mum. That's not any of your concern anyway.
Mum: It's my concern if she's hanging around with my daughter.
Me: I was sleeping around for 2 years I guess I'm a slut too.
Mum: Yeah you were. But you're not now right?

I just don't know how to deal with her. Trying to be understanding but at the same time she makes things so difficult. Yet I still keep trying to call because... well she's my mother as much as I can't stand her attitude.

Ended up opening that bottle of vodka. lol
