Roommate complaint #563:

I've been missing 3 knives for about 2 weeks now. A pairing knife, a serrated bread knife, and a really nice chef's knife- totaling about 75$ altogether. Granted, the house hasn't been totally tidied up in about that long but still. They're knives. Even if I'm drunk cooking I know how to wash, dry, and put away my knives. It's just a ****ing habit after a while. Today, I confronted a roommate about it.

"Oh, uh. You see, I used it and it was dirty. It was very hard to clean so I threw them away."

This is the same guy that's constantly on my case about when I'm moving out so his brother can take my room. I'm moving out when I have a grand and a half for first, last, and a ****ing deposit because this city stopped caring about anyone who's actually from here and just wants to suck techie-yuppie cock all day long. And because no one from Portland is willing to let some guy they've never seen move in with them after responding to a craigslist ad. **** you adulthood. **** you in your mouth.

Yep. I bought them a while ago when I started staging at a restaurant.

This happens a lot. The dude just gets too lazy to do his dishes so he throws them away.

my brother just got engaged a few days so I'm going to be expected to go back to michigan sometime in the near future. ughhh

Hopefully you won't actually have to be in the wedding. I love my family but I never want to be a bridesmaid again, it's like being a well dressed indentured servant.
