No, not always and even if they do you can still retract it if you can convince them to give you a break.
ive gotten out of a couple of tickets, i don't get stopped often and when i have it's over some minor thing.
More than following everything by regulation, it's about the mood and nature of the officer that stops you.

Some are lenient and some are very strict, i got a strict one.
Ofc this also varies with the degree of the offence.

Never ever consent to a vehicle search, ever. I don't care if you don't have anything to hide. Nothing good can ever come of it.

I think it's the same here, but here they are allowed to look in your car through the windows. Especially if you were pulled over for erratic driving or suspected drunk driving - of course they are going to look briefly for any evidence.

Well that's what they can use as evidence for probable cause, like open containers or a bong or 5 kilos of cocaine, etc.

Well if they have a search warrant then you have to comply no question.

I hate being envious of others and having easily hurt feelings. Neither trait is attractive.

Who cares about it being attractive. You're a human being ffs don't be so hard on yourself. If someone can't accept you and love you despite that then they don't deserve you

Yeah exactly. I was going to put that in my post and then I didn't, lol.

Anyways, speaking of cars, the brakes on my car are shot. The pads are worn so thin that I have to practically press the pedal down to the floor and the rotors are warped so the pedal pulsates when you press it. My dad will fix the brakes for me, but I have to buy the parts.

So public transit it is until I save up enough money for brake pads, calipers, and rotors. Set of 4... At least the weather is good now. I can walk and rollerblade to nearby places.

It's been depressingly foggy and grey out for 4 days. I took some time off because I wanted to take care of myself by getting out more but spent the whole time inside watching TV and reading. I mean, could be worse but damn. I hate the fog.
