Stop payment is a much better option. He won't have to wait for a new card to be mailed out.

Only problem with that is they can contest the chargeback. I'm sure he signed a contract when he signed up which would put him at a disadvantage. My bank Next day airs a new card the following day so it only takes two days and you can still go direct to the bank for the two days. I had a similar issue, so I got a new card. The business in question used to call and whine to me about me not owning up to my side of the contract and I said well that sounds familiar because I signed a contract for a certain amount and then you raised the price. Now that I locked you out from my bank account you want to whine, go ahead.

I wasn't laughin. I had made like a pepper spread to go on bread. Like a burschetta. Yeah two habeneros (red ones..They don't come hotter except in brown or purple) jalapeno, and some cubanell. It was very tasty, at first!

Avoid Fitness Connection and any gym that uses ABC Financial.

Now i have even more reasons to avoid gyms :p:

im not surprised though, gyms are notorious for their hidden fees and their hard to get of contracts.
