fuck that shit, most of them are exes for a reason. I don't want to be friends with them. They usually burn bridges so hard. Being a friend with your ex is also the worse thing in the world. I have no idea why you think it's such a good thing.

Agree, though I'm friends with one ex. Needs to be time between it though, as one person will usually still have feelings for the other which is just a recipe for disaster.

Yeah, I have like two that I still talk to every once in awhile but I wouldn't call them friends. They are more like associates. I barely talk to them.

It is so much easier to make a clean break than to keep drama around you with toxic exes in your life.

you know, when you think that a new message has been written and then you open the topic and it was just that someone voted on the poll...

It depends really..
If you're single your ex can be your friend with benefits
but if you have a Gf/Bf they could mess your new relationship up.

That works both ways though, there was a relationship for a reason.

I have only had 1 gf/bf relationship in my adult life and we stayed friends for many years after (although we're completely out of touch now). The only insurmountable problem with our relationship was that I was in it.

You're right, but I dunno. Some of them had some cool clothes. I never really think about the people associated with them when I wear them. It's not really normal, but they're just a part of my wardrobe now.

I still have a bunch of mementos from my first relationship in HS. But all of my breakups have usually been pretty amicable. I'm not really "friends" with a lot of my exes, but I tolerate their presence lol because we travel in a lot of the same circles.

Sometimes even when I'm trying to be friendly and polite and all when having a discussion with my friends, I still manage to make them pissed. Why it is so hard to express yourself correctly? Why people see assaults where there is none? Why they get insulted if I'm just trying to tell them that I care about them and I'd like to help and all.
But I know I use to do the same so I really can't complain.
