I'd get a jam sandwich at anyones door but I'm sometimes too chatty and friendly for my own good.

People take advantage of you because they mistake being nice for being a doormat. Plus sometimes I can just never shut up which is annoying especially when you're watching a film with someone. I used to be really shy up until I was about 19 then have been slowly coming out my shell since. I feel like loads of people irl like me because they can talk to me easily but they're probably just 2 faced bitches who don't like me at all yet go out of their way to speak to me. Such is life, at least I know I'm genuine and that's all that matters. :)

Alright first of all, what the hell does "get a jam sandwich" mean?

Secondly, I've actually been the opposite. I've always had social anxiety, but I was also so socially crippled that I didn't even know how awkward I was, so a lot of the time I would do or say something really weird and not know just what a spectacle I was making of myself, but as I've gotten older I've become much more aware of this. Unfortunately, though my social skills have improved, my confidence has not, so I've just become even more paranoid than ever about doing or saying something to embarrass myself so my social anxiety has actually grown as I've gotten older.

Nah I'm guessing it's genuine. Well there will always be bitches but that's their problem not yours.

Nah most people are two faced as ****, she's right, especially if you're an honest and genuine like her and I are. Except I'm super quiet IRL most times and I hate talking to people I don't know

I don't think it's so muched two-faced, it's just that they're self-interested. They're not really out to get you, but when their interests conflict with yours, then they're gonna screw you.

My problem is with all of the liars out there. I'm not even bothered by just general lying or white lies, but it's mind boggling just how many people just make **** up for no apparent reason. Just to make themselves seem more interesting, or not have to deal with conflicts with people no matter how minor the conflict might actually be, but sometimes there isn't even that much reason. I realize that I tend to work minimum wage jobs and deal with dysfunctional people who are too screwed up to get better jobs, but I am still always amazed by how many of these people there are. It's one of the many reasons why I have little desire to put myself back into the world.

I mean I don't like people who talk shyt about people behind their backs, using confidences as social currency. I speak candidly all of my friends because I like to think they're trustworthy but a lot of the times...nope

I don't have time for "friends" who don't give me the same loyalty I give them. I am half Gryffindor, y'know.

Yeah, I've been there. The main problem seems to be (at least for me) that I always end up hanging around with whoever will have me because the only other option is constant solitude. Due to that I tend to be like a lost puppy and will overlook flaws in people just to have an actual friend. This always leads me to ****ty people who I should never have messed with in the first place.

Long story short, use more quality control with potential friends in the first place. It's kind of easy to recognize certain red flags right off the bat if you're willing to look for them (i.e. pointless lying).

Oh I do, I don't make friends just to have people around, most times I prefer solitude to anything so I can pick and choose pretty easily

I wish people wouldn't talk to me like I'm a child, I had it three times today. I know I don't look or sound 26 but I'm pretty sure I'm an adult who likes being talked to as an equal.

Story of my life, I'm 25 and today the hairdresser asked me, "What year are you in at school, dear?" I had to reply with - "Um, I'm actually a school teacher."
