I was born in Detroit because that's just where my parents happened to be at the time. I don't know of it still works this way, but it used to be that if you were born outside Canada to at least one Canadian parent, the government would give you citizenship as well. And of course you got citizenship from the country you were born in. That's why I have both. Was raised in Toronto though, but I have a Michigan birth certificate.
Dual citizenship offers a lot of advantages (i.e. I can live, work, go to school, and come and go as I please into the US). However, now I'm learning of a possible disadvantage |

I've done it twice now, I think. I may make my next password 'spammingbastard' just to be prepared.
And I have indeed. I've wanted to do it for years but never bothered. Lots of people misread or mispronounced my username anyway, so it's for the best. Plus its capitalised now, which has triggered an OCD-like annoyance in me for five years. EDIT: Giving the spammer your password, basically. |

The vast majority of courses I need to take together are scheduled at conflicting times and only have one class available. To make these courses work I will need to take 9 classes in second semester and be able to be in two places at once.

As for my latest irritant... as much as I love my home country, they could not have more unintuitive online business services if they tried. Trying to find out how to search for a company is like pulling teeth, but when you try and order a Certificate that proves the company is in good standing, you're better off starting an expedition for the Ark of the Covenant. |

I know, I was thinking it. To further the problem, the course times are all over the map. Either I'm going to be staying at the college for 14 hours every day, or I'm going to have to commute to it three times daily to make classes at 7am, 2pm, and 8pm.
