And I'm sure you'd be very proud of your little porn star.

If I ever have a daughter, she will have the best name ever. Something elegant, something a tad ambiguous, something that she would make her own. I'm not thinking Zappa-like names, a bit more subtle than that.

On one of my flights, there was this kid sitting next to me. He was probably 19 or so but whatever he's kid to me. Everything I did he would mimic it in some way. I would change artists on my mp3 player then he would pick up his phone and scroll through tracks to pick another one. I would open up my magazine to read it and he would open up SkyMall and start flipping through the pages. I start tapping my leg to a beat and he follows suit. I couldn't wait to get off of that flight. I'm glad that it was only an hour and 30 mins or so.

That's grueling dj

Sometimes at work people will mimic my specific greeting towards them, which i used to dread but now can't wait to jump on it. What they don't realize is me being the only one around at the place means sooner or later they will have to come to me again for something, in which case i make sure to mimic everything they say for the duration they are in the store.

Mimicking is a technique to get the other person to like you, btw or "sympathise" with you I guess you could say

so mimic them back so they get uncomfortable if you don't wanna be bothered

Like literally everyone mimicks other people, I notice it with my group of friends because if one of us gloms onto a slang word it gets passed around to every one I talk to

People mimick my speech patterns a lot and I don't notice, or I mimic people that I'm close to/respect/am in love with w/o noticing but its fascinating when you think about it. That's why some people seem to speak in codes bc they know they'll be understood by the people who matter/care enough

its very strange but totally human, but like I said if they make you uncomfortable/invade your safe space, then mimic back, its like telling them to **** off

I get offended very easily, so I'm sure whomever may have been mimicking me to "sympathize" with me may have unfortunately gotten a very hostile shopping experience in return lol
