Pretty much the same here. Students can also work as research assistants for their professors in place of teaching undergrads as well.

I will try it but I feel like these things never work!

I just say things and expect you to know, cos you know so much of it though.

Yup, I did that. I'd be more interested in who will play the characters and where it will be filmed more than anything. I genuinely think it might be crap :/. I'd rather think itd be crappy and be pleasantly surprised than get let down.

That would all be dependent on Danny Boyle directing. The guy is a visionary in cinema.

When you're holding your breath you've got to increase the air pressure in your mouth and force it on the back of your throat to force it to be still. I don't really know how to actually tell you to do this in a more specific way, but if you do that for a good while it should clear your hiccups right up.

I know but I feel like they will maybe try too hard cos trainspotting is so legendary or it will be crap because trainspotting is so legendary.

Would still be great to watch I just don't think it will surpass trainspotting.

Every time I get them, there are so disruptive and loud, it's embarrassing!
Apparently you can take a little vinegar, seems to work though I just hold my breath.
Another good way is to get a fright, ie get someone to surprise you with a BOO! or something. This has the triple benefit for me of a) working for my sister b) scaring the cat off her bed and c) being immense fun!

If you take a whole sugar packet (like the ones they provide at restaurants) and swallow all of it (it'll make you gag), you'll get rid of hiccups. It works, it's all I do to get rid of them now.
