Burning Down 03-12-2013 02:06 PM

Woah. The gas station that's down the street from my house was robbed at gunpoint today, in broad daylight. DAFUQ? I'm staying inside for now :S

****, I don't plan on using this thread much, but ****. It turns out I will pretty much have to have a ball removed due to a potentially cancerous tumor. I just don't know what to think, I know the Mighty Sun Ra only had one, but still, so did Hitler.

Yeah, as opposed to figuratively. I could have said the water was frozen, meaning it was just really, really cold. But it was a solid block of ice, so literally, yeah.

Wow that's tough. I don't know you but hey, hope it all goes well. Nasty news to get, but at least it can be treated. Still, ouch! Sorry to hear about that.

I've come to music standstill.

I have no computer, no Internet, no stereo and very little money to dispense for CDs. Not sure what I can do at this point to find another alternative. If anyone can give some advice it would be appreciated.

It doesn't seem like I can really contribute to this forum from now on so I'll probably take a break. Perhaps browse here and there.

Go to a library and borrow CD's or use their computers/internet?

Radio? Usually independent college radio stations are rather eclectic, and there is often something bizarre or interesting in the depths of the AM channels.
Unreliable, I know, but I don't know anything else outside of what anti has already said.
EDIT: Cassettes at record stores are usually uber cheap if by some twist of fate you don't have a computer yet do have a cassette player.

Thanks for the help. :)

I've tried the library way a few times. Unfortunately using computers have a time limit of about an hour max and restrictions of download. I suppose listening to a whole bunch of YouTube vids would be good, but that's about it. As for the CDs, mostly libraries have piss all around here and usually it's the very common stuff.

I wasn't aware they still sell cassette players out there? I'll check that out... Didn't think about getting a radio, should of.

Pandora looks interesting. Never came across it before. Thanks Smeenus.
