Its funny when Henna has nightmares, she starts barking in her sleep, like a monkey, she kind of chirps.

My cat Spooky (RIP) used to seek refuge in my room. When the kittens (Eddie, Ritchie and Molly) were tiny she made their lives hell, and I warned her that once they grew up the boot would be on the other paw! As it turned out to be. So when I'd come home from work she'd be at my bedroom door, waiting to be let in.

I used to let her sleep with me, and she'd often in the night end up sitting on my head. Sounds funny, but her soft purring used to be very calming.

That is, till the night she couldn't get out and ended up crapping on my head! Needless to say, that was the end of her overnight stays in my room!

I still miss her like hell though.

Nah that was awesome what you did, defending her like that when you said she's just an acquaintance. That's totally bad ass of you.

Thanks man, preciate it. She had a tough last few months, things just got to the point where it was kinder --- though heartbreaking --- to end it. Man I never want to go through that again! Though I did, the next year with Debbie, and with three cats left I know it'll happen three more times in my life at least. Hazards of having pets, but hey, I wouldn't be without them.

We got Spook and Debbie's ashes back, and they're both in tiny little caskets with their names on. Very moving. I keep them here in my bedroom; kind of comforts me when I'm low...

I like to look at it this way, time is basically an illusion so technically you are with her right now, and always will be, even through you don't know or experience it. that cliche, they will always be in your heart, holds water in a way.

Gross, I just saw that my ex's brother's ex-wife's sister had a kid and named it Grayden

This stupid ass name trend where everyone is naming their kid something that rhymes with Aiden (Caden, Jayden, Payden, Raiden, etc) needs to seriously stop. It's so fucking awful.

Everyone who does that should die in a fucking fire
