When I was working in my second lumberyard, my crummy Wal-Mart boots gave me some of the worst blisters of my entire life, one of which was underneath my little toe. I ended up buying this clear rubber tube that goes over the toe and it made it a lot easier to walk. Might be worth looking into in order to take the edge off while it heals.

Here's a radical suggestion: maybe you should go to the hospital.

So a Dr can say "Keep off of it for 2 weeks"? Not much you can do for a busted pinky toe.

lol. It's not actually my pinky toe, it's the one next to it, but this still may come in handy. Thanks!

He has no reason to. I was the perfect gentleman.

It's just a little toe, but putting any weight on it causes extreme stabbing pain, so I've been limping around for several days. The limping itself is causing problems, since my body isn't used to walking that way, and I now have sore, exhausted muscles in my legs that make walking even more of a challenge. Yesterday I went out to lunch and a movie with a friend of mine and discovered yet another crappy thing: wearing shoes for a couple of consecutive hours really, really, really irritates my toe to the point where I'm still feeling it a day later.

Well I dislocated mine on the side of my bed right before my trip to Antarctica, I'm lucky I managed to still walk on it so I could go! But sorry to hear that hun, hope it gets better real fast!

I really wish my managers didn't feel the need to come up and grab the back of my chair and announce that it's time for me to go to break when I'm on a call, after already announcing that my team was set for break. AND I turned around, while on my call, acknowledged them, and then continued. Seriously. I heard them, and there's no reason they shouldn't understand that I heard them. I'm all, http://geekparty.com/wp-content/uplo...12/08/Gob2.jpg

I've seriously heard QAs of mine where you can hear faintly in the background, "Break time," or "Lunch." It's ridiculous.

I know this sounds nit picky, but it's one of my biggest pet peeves when I see the hand salute done wrong. Usually it pisses me off most in a movie though. I went to military school for two years, and I've given more salutes than I care to count, and I still know perfectly well how to properly do one. You don't stick your hand in front of your face. Your middle finger should just touch the end of your right eye brow, and for the love of god, if you bend your wrist, you should be shot. I won't even waste time on anyone who would salute with their left hand. Again, this might all be nit picky, but when I'm watching a movie and I see this (which happens in the vast majority of movies depicting the military) it just completely takes me out of the movie and reminds me that I'm watching an actor who has no earthly idea how to do a proper hand salute and obviously didn't care enough to learn.
