I still hate that I'm, at my job, not supposed to develop any manner of rapport with the customers. I do it anyway, when it's a long call I'm pretty certain won't be QA'd...but I feel like a cold, heartless, robot when I'm on shorter calls.
It's like, "My husband owes me child support, and it's due on the fifth, and I need my phone because my son needs to call me when he's back from his basketball games," and my verbiage is like, "I certainly understand that. Is there $50 you could pay today over the phone, from a checking or savings account?" I hate it worse than anything.

Christ! Don't these heartless companies realise people respond better to the human touch than the cold automaton? If I owed something, and developed a bit of an understanding with the operator, I'd be much more inclined to try to reach a compromise than if they just kept badgering me and repeating the party line. In fact, I'd almost NOT pay for spite, thinking "heartless ****ers! Let them sing for their money!"
No wonder you hate your job!

I don't know if you have this where you come from ("The rainy city: Seattle?) but my sis swears by it, and she has really bad acid reflux...
Tastes like liquid chalk though, be warned...

Man I hate when people schedule stuff at the last ****ing minute. A lunch for music students was planned today, and reservations were made for TOMORROW. I'm pissed about it because I have to work tomorrow and can't go. If I had known last week, I would have been able to get the day off. Ugh.

I really hate it when people try to make me cut off my close friends and my two brothers so they can try to have me all to their self.
