Yeah, hdd drives are mega-cheap now. I even bought a 2 TB one about six months ago, still in the box today, have never used it. I suppose I should, but then, it's another plug socket, another USB slot to be used up, and at this moment I don't really need it. Good to know it's there though.
What I'd do is get two drives (cheap ones like these)Toshiba buy at the cheapest price, best deals, online shop - Ireland, put a copy of your music on one, put it away, never touch it except maybe to update it. Then no matter what happens you'll always have a backup copy and you should never be without music again.

Oooo where do I start.
Well I almost ended up homeless because along with my job ending so does my housing because they provide me with housing. Instead now I'm going to be living in a room about 7'x7' for $700/mo, still dont have a job to pick up after this one ends, half way across the country from family and they are failing at their business so I have nobody to rely on. I've graduated college and still can't get a job so now I have a **** ton of debt for a degree that helps me just to go do more school (which i'm taking a break from). And I just took a break in the middle of this rant to go pick up some refuse furniture for my tiny room and come to found it it's been thrown out so now I have no bed. I'm also still in love with my ex who dumped me 2 years ago. And...yeah, I guess that kinda sums up everything. I'm sure there is more, but I don't wanna keep thinking of stuff. |

You could store all of your files and music on the cloud which is password protected and you'll never run the risk of losing them, even if your computer fries or breaks down. You'll be able to access your stuff anywhere in the world too. This is going to be what everyone will be doing soon.

I freely admit I know little of this cloud of which you speak, other than what I've read on forums and that's very little. Now, which iron cabinet did I lock my 78s in....
