It shat me when I did a short course in design for multimedia and I knew more than the guy running it. It was obvious most of his skills were in bull****ting his way into getting funding.
Heh. I've had that exact same experience, though fortunately in my case, the guy was let go after the first class. The funniest part is about a year later I was looking to hire a web designer to work under me and this same guy was one of the people who applied for the job.
Why is it that all these American report news shows make me ****ing cringe when they cover this stuff? I mean, did they tell that guy to thank the lord for their show? I don't find things that crtingey usually, I actually find cringey things funny on occasion, but this **** just makes me feel sick. I have seen a few of them now, the way the news reporters word what they are saying, it all seems kind of...presumptuous or something, I dunno. It almost takes away from the massive tragedy that they are talking about, as if it is some ****ing television show or something, I dunno... Things like this make something so awful and tragic seem so superficial.
I know what you mean. It resembles something you would see on a documentary channel, in places. It reminds me of some of the American true crime shows I see from time to time. They use drama in their report. For example the bit where it goes "...Obviously they chose the wrong theatre." and use rather suspenseful dramatic music implying impending doom. It does come across as a little unecessary to me.
I mean, everyone knew about this story by now. It wasnt breaking news. This is a follow-up story about two of the survivors. I dont think you would see a news report here that painted quite the same story. As has been said, its different everywhere.

Also, the Trailer Park Boys are some of my favorite people in the world, I was just pointing out how culturally insignificant Bieber is compared to the man who is the future King of many places, including Canada.
There is only one bright spot and that is the growing habit of disgruntled men of dynamiting factories and power-stations; I hope that, encouraged now as ‘patriotism’, may remain a habit! But it won’t do any good, if it is not universal.
