Just not going well at all at the moment - first my dad gets a deep vein thrombosis, then two weeks ago my 16 year old cousin committed suicide, my grandma died aged nearly 100 years this last Friday, who's always lived with us and I talked with the most, and the girl I'm in love with just seems to want to go away. And this week is going to be absolutely awful.

What? Oh yeah, we'll fax it to you." Three days later, still waiting for that signature....

As it goes, no, but thanks for asking: we're back to square one. The guy took the machine apart (and I mean down to the BONES) yesterday, fitted the new part, the sun had its hat on, I got one load of washing dry, put in the next and BAM! same thing again. Now I have to get him out again today, or I'll be stuck waiting till Monday, and have to go through another weekend without clean clothes or towels. :banghead:

Yeah, I hated my job in haulage although I would take it again for the money! I used to find the staff from other Depots were really nice. I even had a phone friendship with one haha and PODs should all be burned. I hate them, I used to get my clothes really dirty because the drivers were leaving them to get stamped into the truck floors. I felt like a mechanic.

Urgh you've just had no luck at all with household problems. Hopefully you can wash your clothes and towels this w.e. Haha.

I'm gonna bitch about getting a drip in your hand, except mines isn't on my hand its at a strange angle on my wrist and I can't hold my book because its so uncomfortable :( I haven't eaten in 24hrs and I need to wait til atleast late morning before I will have food. I'm definitely treating myself to a BK tomorrow. I deserve it. :)

Okay, so I just found out that my personal files and records from the high school that I went to were released to the Internet, along with a few hundred other files that belong to other students, past and present. Apparently it was due to a security breach or something and their system was compromised.

I finished school 4 years ago, but they keep records on file for 5 or 6 years after you graduate, in case you need transcripts for post secondary school. Fine. Whatever. What bothers me is that they failed to secure the files on their system, and each folder contains information like your full name, the last address you lived at while a student there, phone numbers, health information, and worst of all, your Social Insurance Number (like an SSN) and/or an actual SSN if you're also an American citizen, like me.

I just got a letter about this in the mail today from the school and the school district, who both stated that they found out about this only about a month ago when a student informed them that they found their record online somewhere. Apparently they managed to fix the problem two weeks ago, and then they took another ****ing two weeks to notify people. WHAT THE ****.

So now I know that my extremely personal information like my SIN and SSN numbers and my full name have been floating out in cyberspace for god knows how long due to somebody's absolute negligence. ****ing hell.

This stuff is always worrying, the modern crime as you know is identity theft, it happens a lot here but is more common in North America. The problem is, that so many people and organizations today require this info but its worse when its plainly given out on the internet in your case.
