I had that shit last year, boiler went had to get a new one, cost me around £1,800 included some new rads as well. Luckily the boiler went in the summer as I didn't have the spare cash to replace it, waited until September to do so, luckily I had an electric shower.

Gas dude is here now...
Well at least since I'm signed up on their "Gold service" any parts that need replacement are covered, as well as the labour, so it shouldn't cost me anything. Annoying though, to have to have him out twice in almost as many days...

So I go and get it and they tell me I can't cash my check until after they go to the bank at 4. Ungh. Not even if I went to Walmart, like I just couldn't. Ungh. So I tell dude @4 begrudgingly, apologize, and take a nap. I get up kind of late, at 4:10, go cash it, and call dude at 4:35 but he doesn't pick up. It's now 6 and I'm still frigging sober. Bout to rip my own head off. And I'm losing optimism that he'll return my call now. I guess the whole things ****ed and I'm gonna have to go to the bar to get a skimpy ****ty 20 from some stranger. FUK

This is why it always irritates me when potheads won't admit to being psychologically addicted to their drug.

Just lost the second pair of my awesome Sennheiser earbuds. God ****ING damn it...

If there is a god, they will magically reappear sometime in the next 8 hours.

I'll admit it, but after a couple days the realization that I won't be smoking anytime soon sets in and I just don't care anymore. So there may be a psychological addiction, but it's not to the point where I'm going to hold someone at gunpoint for a fix.

Before I opted to buy a new boiler, I had the option to get the old one repaired and my plumber told me that the repairs would cost around £600 for parts and labour but there was no guarantee on how long it would work for. Unlike you I never had any existing guarantee on the boiler, so I thought a new one the best option and its a hell of a lot more efficient and reduced my fuel bills a lot.

Well in fairness the guy replaced the PCB, which would have cost about 400 Euro, but I got it gratis due to this contract. But still, not much use when it STILL DOESN'T ****ING WORK!!!!
