Time for your weekly probing.
1. What was the worst physical sickness you've ever had? How long did it take to recover? What was it like? 2. Do you believe in any kind of life after death? 3. A supervillain has developed a terrible new weapon and is planning to eradicate all philosophers and intellectuals from history, entirely reshaping our current world. The supervillain has given you the choice of one philosopher/intellectual for him not to eradicate, thus our entire current world, practices, beliefs, and understandings will derive from the ideas and teachings of this one person - who do you choose? 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? 6. Do you believe that we humans will successfully colonize space? If so, do you think that our technological capabilities will advance quickly enough that we humans will be able to distance ourselves enough from the Milky Way galaxy that we will avoid extinction when the sun explodes in 5-7 billion years (this assumes we won't be dead before this happens and there's no other ELE)? |

I've never had anything serious fortunately. I think the worst was the sinus infection I had when I was 14, it was bad enough that I had to undergo light surgery 2. Do you believe in any kind of life after death? No 3. A supervillain has developed a terrible new weapon and is planning to eradicate all philosophers and intellectuals from history, entirely reshaping our current world. The supervillain has given you the choice of one philosopher/intellectual for him not to eradicate, thus our entire current world, practices, beliefs, and understandings will derive from the ideas and teachings of this one person - who do you choose? damn that's a difficult question, Bertrand Russell I guess? 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? death by torture with everyone you know having to watch 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? hell no 6. I think it's more likely that humankind destroys itself before that happens

Time for your weekly probing.
Cool 1. What was the worst physical sickness you've ever had? How long did it take to recover? What was it like? Pneumonia around 3 weeks. 2. Do you believe in any kind of life after death? Derp. Proudhon 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? idk the imagination is endless Castration by chimp just to give one 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? Hunter gatherer times - higher quality of life 6. We wouldn’t have to be distanced outside the galaxy to avoid the sun expanding in the death of the star. We wouldn’t even have to be outside our solar system to avoid the expansion itself. But anyway if humanity survives there could be a way to transport our consciousnesses at light speed. If we were able to develop that technology in a million years we could be 5 billion light years from here which is a good chunk of the known universe. So yes.

Dogmatism is whack.
1. What was the worst physical sickness you've ever had? How long did it take to recover? What was it like? I had a flu with a fever that reached 104 iirc and sparked nightmarish hallucinations when I was 6. I was taken to the hospital and given speed. It sucked, they were concerned about brain damage but i r aight now. 2. Do you believe in any kind of life after death? Eh, in a very abstract sense that what happens to my body after death fuels life. Otherwise, no. Bob Ross. 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? Having a brain aneurysm right as you catch on fire and burn to death while Jimmy Buffet plays loudly on ****ty speakers. 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? Not really, the music and dope is pretty good here. No. I don't really want them to either.

1. What was the worst physical sickness you've ever had? How long did it take to recover? What was it like?
Probably some sort of flu and just a few weeks. 2. Do you believe in any kind of life after death? Absolutely none whatsoever. Couldn't care less tbh. 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? That bronze bull torture method. There was a guy who got locked in an industrial oven a few years ago and I read about it in the news. One of his workmates accidently shut the oven and turned it on. Makes me feel sick when I think about that. 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? I dunno, either really far back thousands of years or about twenty years before I was actually born. We'll be colonising. Cheers for the questions SGR. |

1. What was the worst physical sickness you've ever had? How long did it take to recover? What was it like?I overdosed on caffeine pills. No bull****. I was up all night and with my friend and young and dumb and thought on a whim I'd like to stay up the next 3-4 days straight. It was about 5am at a ghetto circle K. I bought 3 packs of pills with pictures of bees on them. Downed them all. Later felt a headache. Went home and got sick. Then got sicker. All day throwing up from that 5am to around 9pm the next night. Had to try to drink water or Gatorade to stay hydrated. Couldn't keep it down. Kept throwing up. My throat burned from the acid in my bile. Tried drinking white milky Maalox to calm my stomach and ease my throat. Threw that up too
2. Hmmm..... Imma say Henry Ford 4. What is the worst possible death you can possibly imagine/describe? Death by being a little bitch 5. Is there a time in history you'd rather have been born in than our modern times? If so, why? No, cause all that **** already happened 6. I think yes, if we don't have any other obstacles, we will solve the problem of how to fly thru space and sperm on other planets. |

Why don't you want humans to colonize space? For sure! I'll try to continue to throw out 6 questions every Saturday if others don't. I think it's good fun. Quote:
