Alright mods, override me if y'all hate my questions.
1. What record(s) were instrumental in changing your taste in music? 2. Do you belief in the existent of intelligent life somewhere out in space? 3. A genie comes out one of your vases, but informs you that you can make only one wish (and it can't be for more wishes or another genie) - what is your wish? 4. You wake up and find yourself transported to the late Triassic period - what are the first steps you take? 5. You have the opportunity to sit down and chat with three historical figures of your choosing for tea and cookies (or beer and pizza, your choice) - which three figures do you choose? 6. A mystic on the street informs you with the utmost certainty that you are dying tomorrow at midnight - what do you do with your remaining time? |

A genie comes out one of your vases, but informs you can make only one wish (and it can't be for more wishes or another genie) - what is your wish? 1. What record(s) were instrumental in changing your taste in music?
So many, but some of the most obvious ones: Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced? Bob Dylan - the 'Albert Hall' concert Sex Pistols - NMTB The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground 2. Do you belief in the existent of intelligent life somewhere out in space? I believe there are so many uncertain factors that it doesn't really make sense to say whether one believes in it. 3. A genie comes out one of your vases, but informs you that you can make only one wish (and it can't be for more wishes or another genie) - what is your wish? If I'm in a boring rational mood I'd wish that me and all my loved ones would be happy for the rest of their lives. (buckets for any puking after this sugary statement not provided, sorry) but if my impulsive side would win I would with to be able to fly or communicate with animals or look like winona ryder 4. You wake up and find yourself transported to the late Triassic period - what are the first steps you take? Try to phone someone, go look for some ****ing cool dinosaurs, and try to find a safe place to sleep. In that order 5. You have the opportunity to sit down and chat with three historical figures of your choosing for tea and cookies (or beer and pizza, your choice) - which three figures do you choose? Virginia Woolf, John Lennon, Jane Austen 6. A mystic on the street informs you with the utmost certainty that you are dying tomorrow at midnight - what do you do with your remaining time? Contact all the people I love and tell them how i feel about them. Very corny.

1. What record(s) were instrumental in changing your taste in music?
Ummagumma, Elliott Carter Sonata for cello and piano, Pleasant Dreams, A Love Supreme, Timewind, Bristol Sessions, East Africa: Witchcraft & Ritual Music, The Smithsonian Collection of Classic Jazz, Fat Boys, Psychocandy, Minor Threat, DJ Screw 3 'n the Mornin', several Daniel Johnston cassettes I ordered directly from him at the same time, Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits, Historic Performances Recorded at the Monterey International Pop Festival, South of Heaven, Eroica, Sister, Locust Abortion Technician, Children of God, Stockhausen- Hymnen, Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima 2. Do you belief in the existent of intelligent life somewhere out in space? No. I think the Fermi Paradox proves we’re at the limit of “intelligence” that evolution allows. I think there’s life on earth and in space more intelligent than human beings by a fair objective measurement including my dog and my (unwanted) roaches and the palm tree I stare at during meditation sessions. 3. A genie comes out one of your vases, but informs you that you can make only one wish (and it can't be for more wishes or another genie) - what is your wish? To be God. 4. You wake up and find yourself transported to the late Triassic period - what are the first steps you take? Check my pockets for Xanax. Build a shelter like they always do on those shows. Try to find water. Look for fruit that looks recognizable. Try to build a fire. Build tools for hunting and fishing. Beat off and pray. Look and see if any other people were transported. 5. You have the opportunity to sit down and chat with three historical figures of your choosing for tea and cookies (or beer and pizza, your choice) - which three figures do you choose? Pythagoras, Diogenes, Simone Weil 6. A mystic on the street informs you with the utmost certainty that you are dying tomorrow at midnight - what do you do with your remaining time? Spend 4 hours listening to Coltrane then kill every owner of a black truck I can find while listening to The Ramones on my headset

1. What record(s) were instrumental in changing your taste in music?
Too many. To keep it short and simple I'm just listing the main artists that showed me the way when I was just starting out in my teens: Can, This Heat, John Zorn, Supersilent, King Crimson, Fred Frith. 2. Do you belief in the existent of intelligent life somewhere out in space? The universe is huge af, so there is probably something else out there. Also: *believe 3. A genie comes out one of your vases, but informs you that you can make only one wish (and it can't be for more wishes or another genie) - what is your wish? A superhuman absolute consciousness transcending space and time. 4. You wake up and find yourself transported to the late Triassic period - what are the first steps you take? 1. Giggle because its "triASSic". 2. Giggle some more. 3. Get eaten by something. 5. You have the opportunity to sit down and chat with three historical figures of your choosing for tea and cookies (or beer and pizza, your choice) - which three figures do you choose? I don't really want to talk to anybody but if I really have to, then William S. Burroughs, Lautreamont, Caesar (I know this is basic as hell but I'm really into Roman history lately and he was an interesting dude.) 6. A mystic on the street informs you with the utmost certainty that you are dying tomorrow at midnight - what do you do with your remaining time? Kill myself immediately. **** you, you mystic bitch, you're not the boss of me.
