1. Has a piece of art ever moved you to tears? (Preferably not music but if that is the only one feel free to post.)

I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve, so I specifically look to get all of that from art. That's why I enjoy it so much. So: Music? Yes. Movies? Yes. Video games (if you think they're art)? Yes, FFVI. It's rare, but always pleasantly surprising when a piece can do that. Painting, drawings, statues, and all other forms? Moved, yes, feels, yes, but to tears? Not that I can recall.

2. When do you think someone is old?

32+

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

Domicile.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

Got in some fights with siblings as normal, but otherwise I was as chill as I am now.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

I keep getting the wrong mail for multiple individuals delivered to me. Happened again today. I tend to let a stack build up because it's time out of my day to make a special trip to return them to the Postmaster. Change your address when you move, people.

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

We always did traditional gatherings, and frankly, most of the ones in recent years blend in the same in my memory. However, I always used to liked going to my aunts for x-mas. She made the best food.

Not really moved to tears, but I've had games move me so emotionally that it'd be pretty easy to tear up. Otherwise, I don't really know the last time a piece of art moved me to tears.

2. When do you think someone is old?

I'm not sure how to answer this.

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

My room.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

Well, my parents were pretty strict and disciplinary so I was pretty well behaved.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

I'm not high enough.

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

I don't like traveling. But if I had to answer, probably Washington DC.

I was on the brink of tears many times when watching a movie but I think the only time I actually cried due to art was when I was going back home after having spent my first holidays with my boyfriend. We weren't going to see each other for 2 months, I was on the plane and drinking, Ryan Adams' When will you come back home came on and I just lost it a bit. I don't cry easily. :/

2. When do you think someone is old?
70+

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?
Aside from the couch, the massage table. It's like meditation.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?
Very.

5. Anything annoying you currently?
I'm trying to find new music and the last 10 albums I've listened to weren't to my liking so that can get a bit annoying...

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?
I go on many holidays and love to travel, I'd probably choose between Japan, New York, north of Spain or Krabi, Thailand.

Not much. Can't think of any TV or films, or games or paintings or anything else. Maybe one or two songs.

2. When do you think someone is old?

65ish. Can't believe The Hawk said 30.

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

At home in bed sleeping.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

I was mostly OK but quite cheeky when I got in trouble but nothing too bad.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

Have a wisdom tooth and I want it pulled out. It's not hurting I just want it gone because I only have one and it makes my mouth feel odd. Dentist said its not a problem though. Thought about pulling it briefly. Saw a video on YouTube of a guy pulling his out with pliers and the cracking sound made me cringe.

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

I think first one abroad. It was in Bulgaria. I wouldn't go again though.

Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, in the Louvre, Paris, France.

2. When do you think someone is old?

"The man who is a pessimist before the age of 48 knows too much; if he is an optimist after it he knows too little."

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

The library. Because it's away from people that bother me, and I can launch myself either into cyberspace or into books without having to pay for them.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

Oh I wasn't well behaved at all. I also wasn't ignorant to my surroundings, or arrogant and cocky in my ways, either. That hasn't changed. I think if you're going to be a criminal of any kind, you should be a good enough criminal to know how to avoid getting caught, otherwise it totally defeats the purpose of being a criminal in the first place.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

You ever seen The Shining? "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

Samhain.

Agree with it all and laughed out loud at the Anteater bit.

1. Has a piece of art ever moved you to tears? (Preferably not music but if that is the only one feel free to post.)

No. Close though. I remember coming down on acid and seeing a bunch of Salvador Dali's work on a computer back in 2000. That was pretty awesome. Apart from that, in person I'd say that Virgin of the Rocks at the Louvre in Paris was pretty up there.

2. When do you think someone is old?

When the things you physically want to do outnumber the things you can.

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

At home in the studio.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

I think I was pretty well behaved. The threat of violence was a great deterrent. It wasn't until my mom and dad divorced that I started acting out, which basically just meant going to parties and doing drugs.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

Not really. I could go on about the millions of things but it's all part of life at this point, and a backdrop. Nothing is currently rising notably above expected thresholds.

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

Wasn't really a holiday but when I was stationed in Romania for a month. The couple days I got to roam the country was the most beautiful and tragic thing I've ever experienced, well beyond any other country I've been to.

As in, a recording studio? What is it that you do again?

Haven't done this one despite it being from a whole week back. Better late than never.

1. Has a piece of art ever moved you to tears? (Preferably not music but if that is the only one feel free to post.)

Countless pieces of music for sure. Many movies as well (notably: Mary & Max, La Grande Bellezza). Sometimes I don't even know why, because it's never due to Spielbergian tear-jerk scenes or that kind of manufactured sadness.

The first painting that made me cry was this one. I'll never forget that, because I really couldn't figure out why. The title of the painting suggests the girl brought her mom an orange to convince her to let her play instead of working or something similar.

I think that La Grande Bellezza and that painting above were both the kind of cry were you're overcome with how beautiful human existence can be in those rare moments. That movie, seemed to be about that very thing, by the way. Art shouldn't forget to also celebrate life. I feel like it's often about portraying the backside of the medal.

2. When do you think someone is old?

When they start acting old, basically. Once people start using age as an excuse for being boring and narrow minded, it's time to set yourself afloat on a slab of ice and die with dignity. Have you noticed that the people who live to be around 100 years are rarely very old in their mentality? I think your curiosity and enthusiasm for life has something to do with it somehow.

3. Where is your favourite place to relax?

My old couch with the stereo on and a cup of coffee on the table next to the couch. Maybe also a book.

4. How well behaved were you as a child?

Mostly very.

5. Anything annoying you currently?

This question. Because I can't come up with a good answer.

6. What is the best holiday you ever went on?

Haven't been on a real holiday for 15 years
