Thumbs up

I was eating my tea yesterday and I thought to myself "this milk must be really out of date".

How do you take your coffee/tea? If you don't drink either, what went wrong in your life?

I don't like coffee and I'm too lazy to become a regular tea drinker, but when I do I take four spoons of sugar and just enough milk to "fill out" the flavor.

Favorite cartoon and why.

Batman: The Animated Series, hands down. Storytelling in cartoons may have evolved since then but nostalgia, Batman fanboyism, and the sheer amazingness of that series in so many ways still makes me giddy when I'm about to watch it. Possibly also favorite show or at least tied with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. How the **** can you not lose your **** every time Mark Hamill does the Joker laugh?

How far do you think "art" can be taken before it isn't art anymore?

What's the fun in that? I'll take it on a case-by-case basic and not close my mind beforehand. I'm not arty enough to be proactive.

If the "afterlife" was proven to be a fact, would you kill yourself or hang out for a while?

Depends on the afterlife, but I suppose either way it would take the edge off of life a bit so I'd spend as much time on Earth as possible being as ridiculous as possible. How many bitches would suddenly be DTF if they realized this life was just a waiting room?

You come home to see your neighbors house on fire and it's a windy night. Firefighter gives you exactly three minutes to save what you can before your house catches next. What do you save?

Computers, comics, video games, and if there's time maybe the cats.

What makes your best friend your best friend? Batty, if you had a friend, what would they be like?

You got it all wrong. My best friend isn't as ludicrous as I am but still pretty ****ing nerdy and weird. We just make sense to each other and don't have to explain why we do and say the things we do. We just have fun having arbitrary conversations that would alienate most normies.

But if I didn't have a friend I'd make a fifi and we'd never be separated.

How do you take your coffee/tea? If you don't drink either, what went wrong in your life?

Black coffee, no additives. If I have to drink bad coffee, I might put a bit of creamer in, since it kills most of the bad flavors.

Favorite cartoon and why.

Paprika is my favorite animated movie, bar none. Incredibly visually creative, beautiful and a wonderful movie allround. I still don't get the ending, but I can forgive that.

If you're going to be arbitrary and say japanese cartoons don't count, then I'll change my answer to classic Tom & Jerry cartoons. I love the music in the best of them. Ever notice how closely the music is scored to the action? It's like some kind of progressive (not free) jazz. So much character in the animations and background paintings. Few cartoons are that well made these days. Of course I also love the characters of Tom & Jerry. Generally, I also love old Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons from the 30's, 40's and 50's.

How far do you think "art" can be taken before it isn't art anymore?

If it's made by machines, it's not art. Just like the creations of nature aren't art. If nature counted as art, mother nature would be the ultimate, forever unbeatable artist.

EDIT: I guess I'd say that, to me, artist has to be made purposefully by a sentient, intelligent being.

If the "afterlife" was proven to be a fact, would you kill yourself or hang out for a while?

Life is short. I'm in no hurry to be done with it.

You come home to see your neighbors house on fire and it's a windy night. Firefighter gives you exactly three minutes to save what you can before your house catches next. What do you save?

My keys and my wallet. Maybe a rare album or two, but I'd be able to just find a download after the fact anyway.

All of the music, games and drawings I've made would also be important, but they're safe and secure on Dropbox and Google Drive.

What makes your best friend your best friend? Batty, if you had a friend, what would they be like?

I've got a friend I feel like I can trust unconditionally. If my apartment caught fire, he wouldn't hesitate to offer me a guest room and some money to get back on foot.
