Hopefully. I mean I'm not just making up **** that I changed my stance. I have family that believe in corporal punishment and I have very strong feelings against it, but it can be hard to look past that and see that those people that hit you in the face actually want the best for you and would literally take a bullet for you. It doesn't make it right, but they still want the best for you and millions (billions) of parents feel the same, and to reduce all of their efforts to make you happy to abuse simply because they had the wrong approach is myopic.

At its most basic we're talking about loving children, and the current Western approach is almost to imply that anyone who doesn't use the prescribed method of child rearing doesn't love their kid. Or at least to minimize their love for their children.

There's a lot of what locals call "Old Florida" around the East Coast Central Florida area. Ruins from the Spanish wars with the Native Americans in which many instances of the Native Americans who were enslaved at the Sugar Mills and several of those sugar mills were burned down and they were freed from slavery and returned to their tribes, most typically the Timucua.

12. What is a trend that you see and would like to go away in a genre that you follow?

American Black Metal has a tendency to do a lot of verbal ****-slinging and squabbling over what's essentially nothing. It's for this reason, among cultural differences, why I believe that America kind of lacks the substance that makes Black Metal, well, Black Metal.

Bonus question: What do you call this animal?

Sanctions and direct warfare from the Iraq War has cost around 500,000 Iraqi lives. I don’t believe America would have waged such a war on a white country in this day and age. In today’s world we would have found diplomatic solutions to avoid WW1, the war that had just ended 100 years ago but we go carpet bombing on non-white countries for far less or even no reason at all. As for lynchings, our arrest and forced plea bargain no trial system and the war on drugs is a direct war on black people with some side white casualties. Putting non-violent drug offenders (who are afraid to go to trail) 10-20 year prison sentences where they’re subjected to physical, sexual, and psychological torture stacks up pretty damn well to lynchings. In fact, simply shooting unarmed blacks in the streets of America by our police force IS lynching. So, no, I’m not convinced progress has been made.
