Yes. I tried to do it on the sly.

Yeah

This one sci-fi novel I read had a part where this guy was on a planet that humans were terraforming but it only had plants. Not a single animal of any kind. No insects or anything. It wasn’t like the greatest book but I spent a lot of time pretending I was there. It’s a crazy ****ing thought. When the story moved on and birds were introduced into the ecosystem I felt sad that my fictional plant world was gone.

Would you rather have modshop or spaceship?

1. Would you rather explore time or space? ( I mean would you rather remain on Earth and travel backwards/forwards in time, or explore the universe)
Space would be cool, but after I'd seen the fireworks, I think I'd regret the choice. I'd rather explore time: Specifically human history and the millennia where various critters lived here before we did. It would also be trippy to see Earth at the early stages, with volcanoes going off all over the place.

2. What is the last thing you lost, and did you find it again?
An old knife that used to belong to my grandma literally broke in two when I read this question. I was trying to cut a slice of bread in two and the plastic handle cracked. You jinxed me!

3. What was your original reason for joining MB?
Feeling frustrated that it was impossible to really talk about music with people on Youtube and in the comment sections of music review sites and blogs.
I thought that a dedicated music forum seemed like the way to go. I'd bumped into MB here and there before when searching various musical topics.

4. What is the longest single journey you have ever undertaken? (A road trip/multi-stop plane journey or cruise would all be seen as one journey)
Northern Denmark to Southern France by car. Probably with one night's stop midway through, but I can't remember for sure. It might have been in one go.

5. What's currently on your computer desk/table/area?
Graphite pencils and coloring pencils, rulers, erasers, pencils sharpeners, assorted small blocks of note paper, my Canon printer/scanner, plus my PC speakers. Batty answered it as a question of what's on the computer desktop, and the answer to that would be this.

6. What's the toughest decision you ever had to make?
Would I rather explore time or space?

I would choose space (and then catapult myself directly into the sun)

2. What is the last thing you lost, and did you find it again?

I lose things 800 times per day. So I couldn't say.

3. What was your original reason for joining MB?

I found it while aimlessly googling something-- can't remember what. Lurked for years on and off and then registered. No particular reason

4. What is the longest single journey you have ever undertaken? (A road trip/multi-stop plane journey or cruise would all be seen as one journey)

St. Croix when I was 13

5. What's currently on your computer desk/table/area?

A flask of moonshine, a bag of trail mix, various perfume oils, various cups/mugs, b12, a red leather journal, and a wooden desk organizer thingy that is turned upside down and being used to hold my oil lamp instead

6. What's the toughest decision you ever had to make?

It's a bit too depressing/personal to say here.

1. Would you rather explore time or space? ( I mean would you rather remain on Earth and travel backwards/forwards in time, or explore the universe)

Time. Space is unbelievably intriguing but being able to go through time is far more useful to me. Space would answer some questions and I'd get to see things I haven't seen before but I'm choosing time thanks.

2. What is the last thing you lost, and did you find it again?

Think it was my wallet. Only misplaced it as I'm quite organised. Found it quite quickly.

3. What was your original reason for joining MB?

To discuss music.

4. What is the longest single journey you have ever undertaken? (A road trip/multi-stop plane journey or cruise would all be seen as one journey)

England to Eastern Europe from house to hotel would have been about 7 hours.

In the car, Westward Ho! was 186 miles. The good thing about being from the Midlands is you are relatively close to everywhere on this island.

I cycled 26 miles on a bike once too, and I have never been so hungry by the time I'd finished. That was a race for a school trip and I came second.

5. What's currently on your computer desk/table/area?

A lamp, passport, keys, cash, some tablets.

6. What's the toughest decision you ever had to make?

I don't know, been loads. Quite a difficult question this one TH.

Space. As long as there's some form of protection against all forms of unknowingly, as well as knowingly hostile elements/terrestrials, it would be an incredible journey of discovery.

2. What is the last thing you lost, and did you find it again?

I bounced one of my favorite discs off a tree and into a pond last weekend. I'll probably get it back when they skim the pond this summer. They usually pull close to a hundred out every season, and mine's marked with my PDGA#.

3. What was your original reason for joining MB?

To spam my music and try not to get banned in the process. A personal challenge of sorts. So far so good.

4. What is the longest single journey you have ever undertaken? (A road trip/multi-stop plane journey or cruise would all be seen as one journey)

When I joined the military, one of my conditions for signing on the dotted line was to travel. I spent 2.5 years in Germany.

5. What's currently on your computer desk/table/area?

6. What's the toughest decision you ever had to make?

When my daughters mother was going insane, I had to separate myself from my daughter and her in order to put myself on solid ground so I could gain custody of my daughter. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.
