1. My parents always taught me that getting drunk alone was someting losers do, so I feel guilty whenever I solo-binge (which I do quite rarely and moderately, btw). To this day, I still pretend that I only drink with friends if I'm asked. Can you relate?
No, I drink alone very regularly and feel no guilt. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? Yes. It's almost the best. Non-mainstream pop is the only superior product. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? Never settled but sometimes I stop bothering to look for new stuff. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? Yes. Ethically I am totally on board, it just isn't quite convenient right now for me. Think once I get my flat I will try and go vegan, with a little bit of veggie cheating in between. 5. I sometimes think being attracted to women's legs is kind of weird, but damn, there's a 10x chance that I'll turn my head after a long-legged lady and walk into a lamp post than if it's someone with a big bust walks by me. Do you non-leg men get this attraction at all? And for the MB ladies: Do you even care about mens legs? Is that a thing? Boobs > Legs. Never cared about legs. 6. How often do you think about the brevity of life? Very rarely.

I’ve probably gotten **** faced alone 200 times for every time I got wasted with others. Don’t care who knows or what they think about it. Have no idea why I would feel guilty and I don’t. One of the main reasons is other people want a say in the music. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? Yes. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? Always learning and exploring new stuff. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? I respect veganism. Maybe. I lust after every inch of the female form. 6. How often do you think about the brevity of life? Several times everyday but I’m not often of the opinion that life is brief. Usually I think it’s too ****ing long.

No. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? No, because it's ****. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? I'm always searching for new music and I save everything I enjoy and log it so 'yes' to both questions. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? Not for me personally but I respect both ways of life and their core principles. 5. I sometimes think being attracted to women's legs is kind of weird, but damn, there's a 10x chance that I'll turn my head after a long-legged lady and walk into a lamp post than if it's someone with a big bust walks by me. Sometimes but not for long, I am only 20yo after all.

Your parents are ***gots. If it's sad alone it's probably sad in a group, it's just easy to spread the shame amongst a group so you don't have to accept responsibility for escaping reality. But either way I don't care, drinking in groups requires a group, and my experiences with them have led me to drink in peace, both by choice and necessity. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? *snort* 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? I'm kinda sorta settled in the sense that I'm lazy about exploring, but I'm still always finding something or other that ends up being at least a new thing or even a revelation. Before I realized how much I loved country I probably would have wondered whether I'd ever find a new genre to dive into, but then I did, and now I'm curious if jazz is my new frontier. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? Veganism sounds pointless and anthropomorphizes animals to an extent that is just irrational. I mean, do you really think bees actually give a **** what happens to their honey? They're ****ing insects. I could maybe see myself becoming a vegetarian though if I ever develop a greater sense of integrity. I can come up with no logical reason to eat meat in a 1st world country where there are readily available vegetarian options. Maybe it will turn out I don't have the money to pursue those options (I work at Burger King ffs), but otherwise I can't justify not doing it. I'm just wishy washy and like hamburgers. I'm not really a leg man, but the motion of a woman who knows how to walk sexy and has pleasing leg contours is... pleasant. 6. How often do you think about the brevity of life? If I had the money I'd become a Bond villain and kill as many people as necessary to attain immortality. Living a mortal life is worthwhile day to day, but anytime I think of any kind of long game I consider it a crime against life that our impending oblivion will erase everything we ever were so that to our perception we might as well have never existed. So yeah I do think about it on occasion/****ing constantly. Seriously, the idea that I will probably never know what becomes of space travel kind of enrages me. I wasn't there for the moon landing and now going to Mars may or may not happen in my lifetime. Jesus, at least give me one ultra cool space milestone to watch on TV. If I can't leave the earth on my own or be there for the realization of FTL then I could at least watch the first human step foot on the Red Plant.

Nope. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? Depends. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? Yep. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? Nope. 5. I prefer to drink alone. Or, with a small handful of people I like at their place, my place, or on rare skype video calls. It's just cheaper. Plus I'm less likely to risk driving or having to leave my car in a bar parking lot, etc. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? Some of it. Most of it just irritates me though. Not necessarily the music itself so much as that the music just serves to remind me of the thing behind the music there, the Billboard Top 100. If you do your historical research on radio music, you'll learn some really ****ed up stuff. There's a beautiful music documentary on it called Before The Music Dies. Watch that. It's got interviews with everyone from Dave Matthews to the guy who wrote Jewel's first hit single, to some of the guys in Funkadelic. I largely consider it to be one of the best music documentaries made. More or less the punchline of it being, as video killed the radio star, radio kind of killed live music. Watch it, you'll see what I mean. Before The Music Dies. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? My interests keep evolving. I try to maintain genreless, artistically speaking. I find it limiting to try to think in terms of categorization these days. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? No. Although I don't personally give a **** about someone else's food choices. I did joke with my guitarist years ago how before we do a black metal show I'd like to come out with a "Save The Whales" sign and basically act like an idiot but he unfortunately takes it too seriously for me to actually do that sort of ****. I've been with all sorts of different kinds of women. I don't really care too much about looks, it's just an initial attraction for me. It's if they can conversationally keep up with me or not, that's usually the factor. But, I also don't really date much anymore these days. For one thing, I have absolutely zero interest in marriage and children and that's not subject to really change either, unless I hit the lottery or something. 6. How often do you think about the brevity of life? Mostly Daily, or roughly three or four days at least out of a week, every week for the last five or six years or so. Although, I find it the mental focus of Death and its inevitability to be a very positive and motivating focal point and experience. It also makes handling irrational and aggressive people easier. It's literally part of my morning routine to spend three hours in that focus before a difficult shift at work.

This is by no means proof just if a certain numbers of neurons equals some form of consciousness then the number might be one. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List...ber_of_neurons I also think plants “care” but it’s not scientific just my intuition fwiw or not worth.

1. My parents always taught me that getting drunk alone was someting losers do, so I feel guilty whenever I solo-binge (which I do quite rarely and moderately, btw). To this day, I still pretend that I only drink with friends if I'm asked. Can you relate?
Yes, I suppose, at least lately. I do a lot of grief-drinking. But I don't binge drink, really. I'm not an especially large person, so it doesn't take much to put me into a melancholic drunk state. 2. Do you like any mainstream pop music? If not, why not? I'm very particular (and oftentimes, I'll suddenly feel the desperate need to listen to one m2m or Mandy Moore song eight times in a row, and then I'll be good for a three months) but yes. I do not listen to the radio, and I don't generally enjoy the top 40 stuff that I hear nowadays, but I do inexplicably like certain pop artists and always will. And I've always had a weakness for bad late 90s/early 2000s girl groups due to the whole nostalgia factor. 3. Do you feel like you're still going somewhere, in terms of your musical tastes, or have you sort of "settled"? Yes, though I still go through phases where I listen to the same ten songs over and over and stubbornly refuse to listen to new music for months. 4. Would you ever go vegetarian or vegan? Sure. Perhaps not vegan anytime soon, though. I notice women's legs for sure, but not men's legs usually. 6. How often do you think about the brevity of life? Constantly, seeing as everyone in my family (there's now a third person on the verge-- my aunt in San Diego) seems to be in a great big rush to die. |
