If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Anything by Tove Jansson! I want to be a Moomin. (Or inside one of Anais Nin's diaries, if that counts)

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights, though I equally love the period between 4 and 7 am.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

If there are more than two people in the car I usually suggest taking turns, even if I am driving. (Unless their taste is horrendously bad.) But during longer trips I usually insist on playing one of my pre-made playlists that I likely made specifically for that trip/landscape.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

The park. Because that's the only option around here.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Allegedly.

What's your favorite video game console?

I wouldn't know; I've never owned any.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

I like both, depending on the time of year. I love winter sunrises but you can't beat a summer night.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

I always prefer to pick the music but don't always get to so I usually settle for picking the music on someone else's device rather than insist on using my own, only if I'm a passenger in someone else's car though. If it's my car, **** you I get to pick.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

With the trees or in the studio.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?
Oh yes.

What's your favorite video game console?

I really don't have a favorite. I like nintendo products and am pretty excited for the Switch (well let's be real, Breath of the Wild), but I also like playstation. I have never owned an x box.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

I sadly don't read enough to make these kinds of decisions. Everybody says we're already living in 1984 but that's probably hyperbole and doesn't sound too fun.

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

Depends on who's driving.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

It's not where but with who. Other than that, big ass malls because there's a lot of people to **** with and **** to mess with. Or a good house party.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Yeah.

What's your favorite video game console?

IDK probably 360.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

World War Z. I'd like to see how I would do in a situation like that. Is that weird? I'd probably die. But maybe not. That's the appeal for me.

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights. Always. Nights are for fun or drinking or smoking or chilling. Days are for work. Obviously not all the time but I'm a huge night owl.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

I'm polite when with people I'm not familiar with but if you're a friend of mine, you know I bring the bangers. I play that sh*t like a DJ.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

My friends apartment.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Once. Xylophone in 4th grade. F*cked up Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and I haven't been the same since.

What's your favorite video game console?

Some days a 64 and other days a PS2. Although if cabinets are allowed then it's a Ms. Pacman machine at all times.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

I'm a night person. I do my best thinking then.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

If I'm driving, I usually don't play music. Otherwise, it depends on the other passengers.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

This little park nearby where nobody ever goes. You can look across the highway to a bunch of development and contemplate the meaning of it all.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Quite often. I've performed at music festivals and in restaurants, and I used to sing in a choir.

What's your favorite video game console?

Honestly dunno, I don't have any.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Starship Troopers. How many other chances will I get to rid the universe of bugs? And fascism sounds pretty tight.

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights. **** the sun.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

Sometimes I'll get the one friend I have to play some of my ****, but in general I just go with the flow.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

The disc golf course. Woods, a fun game, places to drink/smoke where you're alone with nature.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Oh my god no.

What's your favorite video game console?

Super Nintendo has some of my heart cause it was the only system I had for the longest. 360 maybe just cause I played more games on it than any other system. But I really haven't had enough game systems to really compare them.

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Probably a William Gibson novel. Living on the bridge from Virtual Light would be sick.

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights are great for walks. Less people around, and the moon is beautiful. But I think I end up doing more in the morning, so I'll go with mornings.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

I usually pick the music. I don't mind listening to theirs, though.

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

There's a nice spot that not many people know about, by a lake. I go there sometimes to read, or take a nap. There's a dead tree hanging over the water, and sometimes I sit on it. Cemetaries are cool, too. Great for practicing singing, since hardly anyone ever goes there. I don't really live near a big cemetary anymore, so I don't visit them as often.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

Yeah, I sing when I go for walks and ride my bike. Old people hate it, except for this one old lady that gave me a big smile when she heard me singing a Flying Burrito Brothers Song.

What's your favorite video game console?

PS2. I have something like sixty games for it. Honestly, I could write a journal about why I like it so much, and about all of the awesome games on it.

Wow, all the way from April huh?

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Any Heinlein novel would do, but Methuselah's Children would be top choice.

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

I'm a morning person.

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

If it's my car, then it's me. If it's someone else's, and they put on something I don't like I'll usually bail...

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

Those parks with the strange looking garbage cans with the chains hanging from them.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

I've been known to play the part of the dancing monkey at times.

What's your favorite video game console?

I've had every single game console from Pong up to Xbox One, either bought from my parents for me or from me to my daughter, but I'd still spend hours playing this time sucker:

If you could live inside of a novel, which would you pick?

Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky

Do you prefer mornings or nights?

Nights now that it's summer

When you're in a car with other people, do you like to pick the music, or do you prefer that somebody else pick it?

"Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole"

Besides your home, what's your favorite place to hang out in your free time?

This is pretty lame, but probably the gym, although I go there to work out, not hang out, but I don't really see the point of going somewhere to do something I could just as easily do at home.

Have you ever sang or played an instrument in public?

I tried busking once and they ended up paying me to stop

What's your favorite video game console?

PS2 for the game library, but the PC will always be my go-to way to play video games.
