1. What is your favorite memory with your parents?

It's been all too rare that I've had many memories of them together (they've been married all my life but dad was away a lot).

Dad: Getting drunk with him, listening to some great tunes. Love talking to dad on the phone.

Mom: Going off on people for being rude to her (she has a physical disability caused by lesions in her brain) in public. Still fucking hate people that don't have the decency to treat disabled people the way they'd like to be treated.

2. You are on death row, what do you order for your final meal?

A small bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream and a glass of peppermint schnapps on the rocks.

3. What is the one phrase that you're most fed up of hearing?

There are so many things that people say that piss me off. People making noise in general just pisses me off. I especially hate people with poor grammar, and people who say "irregardless". STOP THAT.

4. What tv show or movie antagonist do you HATE the most?

I sort of wanted to throat-punch Skylar White toward the end of Breaking Bad, but then I realized that Hank Shrader bothered me a lot more with the way he treated Marie on a daily basis.

5. What is your favorite story or go to joke that you like to tell people you meet for the first time?

I have a lot of really hilarious stories, most work-related. But here's a good one.

I was working in a Holiday gas station/convenience store years ago, cleaning up the coffee bar, when a customer walked over to me and said "you might want to have this". Taken off-guard by such verbal subtlety (I'm quite shy but I'm getting better) all I could say was "oh?" as he handed me the handle to the toilet in the men's room.

6. If you can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life. What would you choose?

Gasoline. Or liquor.

Honestly I think Christmas with my parents is great. We are all happy, sharing good food and relaxing with movies or kayaking. I was sad to not see them at Xmas.

Okay. Teriyaki salmon with lemon meringue pie to follow.

"Believe in yourself, anything is possible".

Vomit material. It's called hard work makes things happen.

Gremlins. They gave me nightmares for years.

I always tell people about my trip to Antarctica, it's fun to talk about.

That's a tough one. I don't think 12 year old me would be into a lot of things that present day me likes. Maybe the Melt Yourself Down s/t. I think that would be approachable enough for 12 year old me to enjoy while still expanding his horizons a bit.

3. Do you enjoy Nickelback albums?
Never heard one, but since I don't like any songs I've heard by them I'm guessing the answer would be no.

Space travel. But considering the circumstances I think he'd be unimpressed.

I'm pretty happy with how my musical appreciation journey has gone in life, wouldn't wanna change it. I'd maybe just push the dates I discovered new things back a few years so today I'd have a more vast base of knowledge and enjoyment.

No.
